Facilities: Wash Bay

We understand that your investment can be jeopardized by a lack of biosecurity. It is for this reason that we have our own wash bays at our facility so that our service technicians can clean and disinfect their vehicles before and after each day of flock service.

Disinfectant System

Each JWM service vehicle is equipped with an onboard disinfectant system so that the tires of our vehicles can be thoroughly treated for any pathogens that we may encounter during our travels from farm to farm. These disinfectant systems are also equipped with a hand wand so the poultry service technician can also sanitize any equipment after it is used on any given farm.

Laundry

Our service technicians wear cleaned and laundered coveralls each time they are on a different farm. This clothing is stored in a sealed plastic bag in the service vehicles after being worn until the end of the day when it is properly washed and disinfected back at JWM’s home office.

Vaccinators

Vaccinations are an important part of ensuring that our customers birds are prepared for the challenges they will face in the layer facility. We use sprayers and custom built vaccinating equipment to ensure that the pullets receive accurate application of the vaccine. This process is done to build the antibodies required to defend the flock throughout their lay cycle.
